Tu B'shvat Campaign

In honour of Tu-B’Shvat and the new year 2022, Keren Heseg in partnership with “Asif”- agricultural culture, are preparing for the launch of a campaign to support Israeli agriculture and small business which use natural products. The ambassadors of this campaign will be the students of the Keren Heseg Scholarship, which supports lone soldiers after their service by providing them with an academic scholarship as well as aid and guidance throughout their academic years in Israel.

This digital campaign will include photos of ambassadors and farmers together in the fields of Israel, by their side will appear olive trees and perennial plants, accompanied by the text from the song “Seeing Far – Seeing Clear” (Yankle Rotblatt and Shmulik Kraus). This campaign will call for the support of Israeli Agriculture through the purchase of trees and plants from the farmers.

The Heseg ambassadors will publicize this campaign on their various social media accounts, with a message of optimism and mutual responsibility, while promoting the purchase of these trees and plants (Rain Bells Flowers, Daffodils, Grass Lily, Hyacniths) as a gift or donation. Each purchase, in addition to supporting the farmers, will be matched with a 5-shekel donation to the ambassador’s environmental project or project related to the holiday, such as Tu B’Shvat Seder at an old age home, passing out of plants in hospitals and more.

We are interested in involving businesses inside an outside of Israel that promote environmental and social values as a part of their corporate responsibility.

Companies that would like to participate may do so in multiple ways:

By purchasing olive trees, plants, or agricultural packages for their employees as a holiday gift, or for the beginning of the new year, with a message to the employees about the company’s donation in support of the farmers and the projects of the ambassadors.

The plants can be donated by the company to a project that it supports, while motivating their employees to be socially active.

Employees can participate by becoming ambassadors themselves and can publicize the project on their social media platforms.

We would be happy to explore different ways in which a company can be apart of this campaign.

“It was so narrow that I had to spread my wings and fly to a place where, perhaps like Mount Nevo, you could see far you could see clear, a human being like a tree planted on water – seeks roots”
